Katleho Malebana started playing football in the backyard , Playing with his older Brother at the age of 6 years.She saw his Brother playing alone then she joined him , Lucky his Dad was watching . After his Dad adviced her to take football seriously,That’s where she joined a soccer team called Blackball United . Katleho stated that’s how her football Journey began.The person influenced and inspired her to became an footballer is his older Brother.One of her ambitions when if she makes it into pro set up is to win the Ballon d’ or Play Women Champions League, Play in World Cup for South Africa (Banyana Banyana), Also be the Best African Player.The Challenges she faced since started playing football was playing with boys and she felt lonely ,But with the support of her Parents she kept going .Lessons she picked up during her football Journey is Discipline . According to her Discipline is key no matter what happens and you need to work harder so you can achieve your goals .The Changes would like to see happening in South African Football Development Structures ,She wants to see more Sponsorships Support Women S’ Football in training, Leagues and tournaments . People motivates her to do better every day mentioned her Family , Because they help her to never give up in difficult situations.Katleho ‘S favourite football idol is Linda Motlhalo , Because of her style of play is similar to her.She regards his Dad and Brother as her Best Mentors in Football also in Life General . Why them ?She told the online publication they always encourage her to work harder .Kat s’ goal for 2023/24 Season was to reach at least 100 assists and also to scored 20 goals . Since she started playing football managed to scored 39 goals (In 2 years).On joining Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies Team ,She feels very lucky because is not easy to play for such team and also shared some news concerning the National Team Call Ups (Under 17) when she was 13 years . Joining the National Team in the Camp was a wonderful feeling also she was emotional because she didn’t believe it but all thanks for her family for pushing her.In 3 years time she wants to see herself having at least 200 assists and scored 50 goals and play in Overseas (Spain) Especially for FC Barcelona.The Achievements She obtained since started playing football :Won VW Tournament 2022/23 Season with Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies,Won player of the tournament in Cape Town (2019),Player of the tournament VW (2022),Call Ups For Under 17 National Team (2022,2023,2024). Encouraging Words for upcoming footballers especially ladies who wants to make it into professional,The advice she wants to give them , They must work harder ,Stay Discipline and everything will fall into place .
