Mike Kgopa started playing football when he was 10 years old, Playing as a left and right winger.He was influenced and inspired by George Lebese to became an footballer , and He admire his style of play especially when he was playing for Kaizer Chiefs fc .He was also inspired by Simphiwe Shabalala . After watching them regularly Mike started to improved concerning his game from under 13 until 19.One of his ambitions if it happens he makes it into pro set up ,He will influence the upcoming footballers from his Kasi to stay positive and work hard, because he believes anything is possible in life.The Challenges he faced since started playing , Rejections from trials , Stated other teams looking for money so they can provide with the opportunity Highlighted ” It was unfair on his path .The lessons he picked up during his football Journey,He learned that nothing comes easy in life ,You must always keep on working harder,stay discipline and God will take care the rest . People Motivates him to do better everyday mentioned his Current Coach At TUT Mbombela , Coach Wonder and His teammates .The changes would like to see happening in South African Football Development Structures,For him would like to see young soccer players making it to pro set up , Because there is a lot hidden talents out there and some of the players are not recognized because of finance to join better teams or Academies.Mike s’ favourite football idols are Aubrey Modiba,Trent Arnold and Khuliso Modau, Because all of them play similar like him stated enjoys watching them.The online publication asked him about his goals for 2023/24 Season , According to him his plan was to win the league but they didn’t started well because of some factors although the team improved second round and play best football ever seen .They pushing to occupy position 3rd.Personally for him regarding the current season he managed to scored 3 goals and made 5 assists.Since he arrived in Mpumalanga for studies in 2022 and joined TUT Football Team Mike Never looked back , Also is excelling at his academics referring to Adventure Tourism Management Course .He would like to thank his mate from the Res where he stays for inviting him to attend training with the school team .Since he started playing for the school team ,He learns everyday at training although sometimes it’s tough .In 3 years time he wants to see himself playing professional football in South Africa or Abroad.The 22 year old managed to obtained the achievements by winning Best player of the season and sportsmans of the year for 2022/23 Season.Became 3rd place with TUT Football Team for 2022/23,Won Polfa league (U13) in 2015,Won Polfa league (U15) also In 2015.Words for his family and supporters back home ,He would like to thank them for Supporting him through his Career and he promised will never dissapoint them .The advise would like to share with upcoming youngsters Said Nothing is important if you really want it then go for it .Even though it’s tough and the challenges will always be there but stay Calm ,Be Discipline, work hard the rest will follow .
