Thuso started playing football at his neighborhood s’ called Killer FC ,when he was 7 years old.The person influenced and inspired him to became an footballer is Thabelo Tshikweta currently playing in Motsepe Foundation for Venda Football Academy ,and also his Uncle .One of his ambitions when he makes it into pro set up is to open doors for other kids that comes from small villages like his in Mulima Thondoni and able to provide for his family.The Challenges he faced since started playing football was unable to buy soccerboots because of finances and being rejected in trials.The lessons he picked up during his football Journey ,He learned that to succeed you must be Discipline , Listen to the Coaches and other team mates , and also humble yourself .The person motivates him to do better every day mentioned his family since his mother is a single parent and able to change the home situation.Changes he would like to see happening in South African Football Development Structures Said” scouts must go to Kasi ,Not relying more on their Academies , Because they have more talented players in Rural Areas.Thuso s’ favourite football idol is Cristiano Ronaldo , according to him the guy comes from small town in Portugal and and able to achieve alot in their Generation,and also the work he put inside and outside the field is incredible.The person he regards as his Best Mentor in football is Thabelo Tshikweta of Venda Football Academy (Motsepe Foundation), Because he comes from his Kasi and he saw him when he was young , stated since was young has been his Mentor .He always tells him that he must push harder every day ,God will do the rest , Also for Thabelo started playing pro football at 28 ,so anything is possible . Since he moved to Mpumalanga concerning his studies at TUT ,He joined the school team second round of the season 2023/24 .One Of his goals is to become a top goalscorer and represent TUT in Varsity Cup Football For 2024.Thuso also managed to played for Mpheni Home Defenders FC in Limpopo.Playing in ABC MOTSEPE LEAGUE was a nice feeling for him since it’s a semi professional League in South African Football.He told the online publication , during his time at Abc Motsepe League he managed to played with former professional players ,it impact positively in one’s game and exposure is there.He continues to explained the standard of Abc Motsepe League is very Competitive and playing against former PSL Legends and other players from other provinces is always tough , Because all teams want to get promoted to Motsepe Foundation .He shared some news regarding his studies at TUT,The talented Striker is doing Public Affairs (Administration) Course ,and also is enjoying Mpumalanga stating is a good environment and able to get exposure from playing the league and there are chances that you can go to Varsity Cup , Currently he scored 7 goals and made 4 assists since he joined the school team beginning of second round.Thuso Enjoys the school team training highlighted is intense and lot of pressing and they able to play as unit (Brothers) , and it helps one another to grow as a player individually and as a group.In 3 years time he wants to see himself playing in Pro Side , Also continue to represent TUT at Varsity Cup.The achievements he obtained since started playing football :Under 12 Domestic Cup top goalscorer,aUnder 15 Domestic Cup top goalscorer,Played in Mdc for TTM 20/21 Season,Played in Nedbank Cup Last 32 against Chippa United FC and they knockout in last 16.Words for his family and supporters back home Said” they must keep showing him love and support , and also pray for him won’t Dissapoint.Encouraging words for upcoming footballers ,He would say they must be humble and Discipline , and work hard because you never know who ‘s watching and pray.Thoughts regarding the online publication, The 23 year old feel honoured and it means his work is speaking for itself and it gave time to reflect how far have come and he needs to push more to achieve his goal .
