Sthembayena started playing football when he moved to Gauteng to live with his Dad.He started loving football when he took him to Rand Stadium seeing Kaizer Chiefs played was so epic feeling he won’t forget.The Person influenced and inspired him to became an footballer is his Dad , because also too was an footballer .One of his ambitions if it happens he makes it into pro set up is to make his family proud and play at the top range at all times.The Challenges he faced since started playing football was support from his family,He didn’t get enough support by not having soccerboots had to play bare foot.Regarding his football Journey He picked up a lot of lessons where it taught him that every chance you get ,you must make use of it, Stated it comes once and it’s gone.The People motivates him to do better every day mentioned his Parents, Because they always call him before the game and wish him the best also pray for him everytime.Changes would like to see happening in South African Football Development Structures he wish to see ,is having the likes of DDC League in the lower regions to have the upcoming talent to be seen Abroad and even Locally, Because most known good players are no longer in the football game.They have taken a different route due to that they are not seen enough scouts are hardly there.Sthembayena s’ favourite football idol is Josta Dladla , Because when he was growing mostly said ” he kinda play like him ,even the hairstyle he had was like Josta.The Person regards as his Best Mentor in Football is Thabiso “Skapie” Malatsi formerly with Kaizer Chiefs fc, Because he got an opportunity to be coached by him and he taught him something would be proud of.He also told him that football is the World on its own you take care of the ball the World it shall do the same if not you be able to tell others too about your Career.Sthembayena told the online publication , Still playing football currently in the books of TS Sporting FC , Campaigning in Regional Hollywood Bet League formerly SAB in Mpumalanga.According to him playing for TS Sporting it means the most , Because it’s a team whereby it gave him the platform and a way for him to be able to be with the first team which it was relegated by the time he joined.On joining TS Sporting FC ,He thinks it’s a Dream come true to some players you know , knowing that TS Sporting had a team in the NFD League and as yet the Academy is performing at it’s highest bidder ,So it’s a great honour for him.At first when he came there ,He was scared because he knew no one coming from Johannesburg was not easy ,His parents sacrificed for him to be in Mpumalanga .It wasn’t so easy at first things were so tough ,He had to work hard as much as possible , Because it was the only chance he had and to make sure his parents are happy about his performance.The new environment for him was a great atmosphere being in a different province , Highlighted ” it was so great , Because it’s one of the things most soccer players wish to go through,but he had to be disciplined since he was away from home .He had to stay true to himself and to what his name means to him.He truly much appreciated his stay at TS Sporting .For him it was a great experience and he will not forget every moment he had with the team even till to date.The talented player told Wm Sports ,At the first team was not so much promising, Because they had different type of players coming in and had to understand that be able to know the other player abilities, and understand them in the field of play and also outside.The reason he decided to leave last season ,it’s because his parents didn’t have enough budget anymore for him to keep staying in Mpumalanga ,since they were paying accommodation for him.Explained ” it wasn’t easy but he had to leave .He shared some news regarding TS Sporting Technical Team by saying the technical team was so great, Because it was first time they had an Academy player coming to join the first team ,it was a good exposure for him and to be learned from them .He would proudly say in the technical team , He was well taken care of .The achievements he obtained since started playing football ,He would say for him was being able to reached where is today and getting experience in so much different league with certain players which right now are in the first team . Individual accolades ,He was awarded The Best Defender the Season in the TS Sporting Academy,Won Best CM in Wits Juniors U17 and Most improved player in the U19 of Wits Juniors and Best Right Back in Highlands Park FC.In 3 years time he wanna see himself playing at the highest rate of football , maybe local or Abroad ,But he wants to see himself playing at the highest level at all times and it would be a dream come true for him, Because he wish to play for West Ham United which his is Dad s’ favourite team but it will still be a dream come true for him to be playing Abroad.Words for his family and supporters back home is that he knows the sacrifices they made for him and he will make sure to make them proud , and he will never forget the support he received through both of them .He will keep pushing hard not for him only ,but also to keep them happy .The advice he wants to share with the upcoming footballers ,He doesn’t have so much but all he can say is that you guys have so much ,many different opportunities which them , They never got parents are now seeing where football can take the upcoming youngster but all in all is that it may feel like you alone things are not moving the way you want ,you must keep working harder but no progress all he can say is that keep working because you won’t know when is the right time but play every games as if it’s your last games, Because someone looking.His Thoughts regarding the online publication ,is that it helps so many players to be able to pass the good word out to other players about their journey and to motivate them that it’s not over,yet it encourages also the youngsters who are watching to also one day to be them replying online interview questions , Because it touches a lot of players who are reading online interviews ,on Wm Sports.
