Thembinkosi Nkosi started playing football when he was 8 years old for a team called Young Shooters FC , also that’s where he learned some basics when it comes for football.The person who influenced and inspired him to became an footballer is his father , because also too played football .His father always advice and motivates him when it comes for football because one day he wants to see him in the professional team.One of his ambitions if it happens he makes it into pro set up ,He wants to become a hard working player and follow his football idols so one day he can make his Dream come true by playing professional football.The Challenges he faced since started playing football was receiving negative comments about his performance during games ,but the support he received from his parents was remarkable that’s why he didn’t give up .Thembinkosi during his football Journey ,He learned that in football when you have a Discipline and works hard you going to make it .The People motivates him to do better every day mentioned his previous Coach , Coach Velaphi From Young Shooters FC and teammates even now they always keep in touch.Changes would like to see happening in South African Football Development Structures,For him Football Organizations must join hands to establish football centers so that it can accommodate every player especially in Rural Areas.He thinks this will help the players drastically.Thembinkosi s’ favourite football idol is Thembinkosi Lorch of Mamelodi Sundowns formerly With Orlando Pirates FC Because he admire his style of play and he makes sure he plays like a team player.The person regards as his Best Mentor in Football is Coach Velaphi because he doesn’t get tired to motivate him everyday that he must continue to work hard.To join TTM ACADEMY in Pretoria this year, Thembinkosi feels good because they teach them to understand football in different aspects also he needs to be strong . Since he joined TTM ,now he started to see football in different way because the level of training is intense and is honoured to be part of the institution.Concerning 2024 season Thembinkosi wants to work hard and make sure that he makes it in the Motsepe Foundation League or even PSL if is possible because he wants to change his home situation.In 3 years time Thembinkosi wants to see himself playing in PSL because he believes his hard working ethic will present him with the opportunity so that he can play pro football.Since started playing football,He managed to won the following individual accolades,Won Best goal of the tournament,Man of the match Award ,Won a Cup also received a gold medal.Thembinkosi s’ former Coaches and teammates are very happy for his progress in football because it means what they planted to him it shows now hopeful will work hard so that he can make them very happy and they want to see him at pro set up.Words for his family and supporters back home He would like to say thank you for everything especially their support through thick and thin also he loves them so much.He shared some news regarding his new home referring to TTM ACADEMY Headquarters in Pretoria stating it’s a good and peaceful place but at times is not safe especially at night.This situation makes some players to feel uneasy and unhappy because their safety always comes first.On playing Mamelodi Sundowns u19 team was an eye opener for him and they learned a lot as team and he never thought so soon will play against Mamelodi Sundowns but gladly so all thanks to Almighty for making the situation happen.He picked up some football Aspects on the Mamelodi Sundowns players , for example when they play as a team they need to trust each other .The encouraging words for upcoming youngsters,He would like to tell them that they must work hard every day also they must Discipline ,They mustn’t give up because football is not an easy sports and the challenges will always be there.Thoughts regarding our online publication Thembinkosi said ” it’s a wonderful platform because they can clear everything in their hearts and inspire other upcoming footballers with their journey .
