Leo Ngqina started playing football in Eastern Cape,Grahamstown when he was 6 to 7 years old.He went to Cape Town to live with his Dad and Mom,Then he quit football for a short period.Whe he turned 13 years old, Joined a team in his Area and that’s where he started to realized that this Football Life is for him.The influenced and inspired him to became an footballer mentioned his Brother and his Dunoon Coaches especially Coach Zolisile Zert Seku , Because he saw the potential and hunger in him , and also he was always there for him through his difficult phases Concerning his football Career.Stated he motivates him to do better most of the time.When he grew up one of his ambitions if it happens he makes it into pro set up is to have his own football project and motivates upcoming youngsters to be successful on their football Career,and behave in proper manner in different environment.The other thing to take care of his family, and support his boyhood team in Dunoon . Insisted giving back to the Community is the way to go.The Challenges he faced since started playing football told the online publication had a tough journey especially when he was young trying to fulfill his Dreams, Because he was so fat eating too much,so it was hard for him to enjoy playing football.He also broke his arm when he was 16 years.The other Challenge he experienced was being rejected by many Clubs the likes of Hellenic football Club and Cape Town Spurs.One of his lessons ,He picked up during his football Journey is to be Mental Strong and also be patient .He thinks that’s all matters and he doesn’t take football for granted , Stated there are other footballers who wants it more than you people motivates him to do better every day mentioned his Parents and Elder Brothers , also himself too.The changes would like to see happening in South African Football Development is to see youngsters being given a fair chance to showcase their talents and each province established plenty Development Programs etc.Leo s’ favourite football idol is Billy Gilmour, According to him is one of the Best players and he admire his style of play.The person he regards his Best Mentor in Football is his LFA Coach , Zolisile Zert Seku, Because he always teach him how to be a good human being in and off the field also teach him about Life itself, Happily ” said is like a Father to him.Regarding the second half of 2023/24 Season Concerning DDC he told the online publication doesn’t much to say because he doesn’t know what to expect,But is ready for anything also they ready to fight for a better spot.

He shared some news regarding Chippa United s’ technical team saying they are strong human beings who cares about them as players.Coming back for DDC Reserve League they want to fight for it , Because they have a Competitive Squad who can beat any team in the given day, and they gunning for the first spot.About his individual accolades since started playing Replied ” He won player of the season,Top goalscorer for u12 and 14, Dunoon LFA Squad Player,Coke Cup Quarter Finalists.In 3 years time he wants to see himself playing for first team and represent his Country in Big tournaments like AFCON and World Cup, Highlighted ” about Europe only time will tell.Words for his family and supporters back home first of all he would like to thank them for Supporting him especially the Community of Dunoon, Family and Friends .
