The boy nicknamed Starr Boy Abza started playing football when he was 6 years old, playing for his home town team called Junior Chiefs fc from there never looked back.When we asked him who influenced and inspired him to became an footballer, Replied “He is from a football family,His Mother played soccer he guess it’s in the blood.He thinks got a talent from his Mother and she is the one who inspired him but he doesn’t think she wanted him to play football ,She wanted him to focus on school work.One of his ambitions when he make it into professional set up is to carry on with the momentum and go Abroad play in the biggest league EPL for Liverpool and represent his Country .Starr Boy Abza faced a lot of challenges since started playing football especially at the young age ,At first he didn’t have soccer boots,he used to played with bear foot , also his mother always worked harder for him to fit in sometimes he didn’t have money to even travelled with the team when they were playing away games insisted but now things have changed only because of the Almighty God.The lessons he learned since started playing football is that it’s never easy you always have to work hard no matter how hard it is keep on going you will make it and also learned that don’t give up when things seems to be not going well hope and pray God will make a way for you.A person motivates him to do better every day mentioned his Mother because she’s the women he wants to make her proud and thankful regarding all the effort she puts to make his Dream come true stated always put him first before anything.The Changes would like to see happening in South African Football Development,He would like to see rural kids given a chance to showcase their talents because is one of them and there’s limited chances in rural areas.The promising player s’ favourite football idol is Tebogo Mokoena From Mamelodi Sundowns because of his leadership skills are on another level ,the way he plays is just magnificent to watch that’s why he is his idol.According his Best Mentor in football again he mentioned his Mother because she gives him a lot of advices she is his everything.Personal goals he planned to achieve for 2024 GDL Season , is to play for the DDC Team and Represent his Country , and also play Engen Tournament .On playing for Supersport United FC ,Starr Boy Abza highlighted Supersport is a big club and has produced some great players , also wearing Supersport shirt its a big thing and it motivates you to always play at your best.For him it feels special to play for Supersport United ,it’s such a big club especially at the age is in .He told the online publication ,the Supersport United technical team is very good because they are not only just coach them ,but they are family they teach them about Respect and how to grow as a young person.In 2024 season for GDL he expects his team to defend the title because they won it last season and win the GDL Cup complete the double.Some of the aspects he noticed last season highlighting The GDL is very competitive because every single player wants to prove himself to bigger teams also everyone wants to compete because they all playing for contracts.He did managed to earned the National Team Call Up, but they had an issue that lead him not going but now it’s all sorted.In 3 years time he wants to see himself playing Abroad in EPL club and playing for National Team.The individual accolades he won since started playing football , was winning player of the year last season, winning upcoming promising player of the year and won player of the tournament in GDL Cup.Words for his Supporters back home ,he promised them will not come back home empty handed it’s do or die but he promised will come back as a winner.Encouraging words for upcoming youngsters ,it’s never easy, work hard so you can enjoy your achievements, after the hard work keep going.His thoughts regarding the online publication ,said” the online publication is a very good platform because it allows them as young players to come out and express themselves to South Africa and it helps them with exposure.
