Akwande Of Alaska Academy Is Promising In Football

Akwande started playing football when he was 10 years old,was playing for Dream Boys FC in Eastern Cape a place called Sterkspruit.In 2022 Kathorus Hyper Academy took him in trials, stated he was playing in Gauteng Development League.2023 Akwande joined Alaska Academy also campaigning in GDL.The person influenced and inspired him to became an footballer was his Big Brother.One of his ambitions if it happens he makes it into pro set up is to change the situation at home and his Community.Challenges he faced since started playing football,is to fight for his position at the team by working hard at training also using his intelligence to overcame any situation he was facing.The lessons he picked up during his football Journey, Learned to be Discipline,Put more effort if you want to be a pro footballer.The young promising player told Wm Sports his Mother always motivates him to do better every day.Regarding South African Football Development he wants SAFA to initiate proper structures interms Development in rural areas.Akwande s’ favourite football idol is Rodri From Manchester City , because he plays the football he wants .The former Kathorus Hyper Academy player ,He regards Thabiso Sigudla as his Best Mentor in football because he makes him to understand all the aspects of football, and he tells him what he must do if he wants to be successful.Concerning his goals for GDL 2024 Season is to see himself in TS Galaxy Academy Colours, Highlighted he wants to grow in football but currently playing for Alaska Academy it feels good and it means alot because they support each other also they make everyone to understand football.Campaigning in GDL according to him is hard because it’s competitive every player plays to market himself for teams like Mamelodi Sundowns,TS Galaxy , Supersport United etc.In 3 years time he wants to see himself in Big teams like Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and TS Galaxy.So that’s why his current technical team always pushing him at training so he can do better concerning his football Career,but first he wants to establish himself in DDC , also win trophies with the team and individual accolades.Words for his Supporters back ,He would like to take this opportunity to thank them for Supporting him through difficult times but he promised will make them proud.The advice he would like to share with upcoming youngsters Said ” They must work harder,stay focused ,be Discipline also not to forget the Almighty everything will be fine.Thoughts regarding the online publication for him it’s a wonderful platform.
