Thando Rick Mhlanga was born in Mpumalanga,At the age of 3 years moved to Pretoria with his parents, because they got jobs there.He started playing football at the age of 8 years from a team called Ace Mits fc until he was 13 years.After he joined Roseline Sedibana Soccer School at the age of 14 to 17 years.In 2021 he returned to Mpumalanga , Nelspruit that’s where he joined Mpumalanga School Of Excellent under 17 team was coached by Coach Wonder .The main reason he joined Mpumalanga School Of Excellent was the organisation of the Academy etc.By that time he performed well at Mse but he wasn’t focus ,He wanted to play for the SAB Team while he wasn’t ready ,so that’s he moved away from Mse to Joined Mbombela Saints SAB Team “Insisted the move was initiated by his friends.The Person influenced and inspired him to became an footballer mentioned his later .He always told him to play football .When he grew up ,one of his ambitions is to make his parents proud , also to help upcoming youngsters to play professional.The Challenges he faced since started playing football,At first he thought plenty Coaches disliked him but it wasn’t a case .They wanted to see him doing better,by pushing him at training so he can be a better player one day.The lessons he picked up during his football “Said he learned not to give up, have a role model to motivates you.The person motivates him to do better every day mentioned his Mother , because when is getting tough,she always there to encourage him to do better.Changes would like to see happening in South African Football Development, According to him plenty stakeholders must invest in grassroots football, also plenty professional teams or Academies must give young talented players a fair Chance to Showcase their talents not paying money.Thando s’ favourite football idol is Zlatan Ibrahimovic, because how he applies himself during tough situations , also he doesn’t give up stated” it’s like him.Regarding his Best Mentor,He mentioned his late father, because he was always there to guide him to do better,so that’s why every game he plays dedicate for him.In 2023/24 season he planned to become a best player in DDC and help his team to win the league.He also shared some news concerning his movements for teams, after Mbombela Saints he returned to Mpumalanga School Of Excellent for SAB Team in 2022/23 season , but he didn’t last because Liver Brother fc from Bushbuckridge was very much interested,so he decided to leave Mse and joined them .The team also campaigning in Hollywood Men’s Regional League (Formerly SAB League),Thando helped them to reach Nedbank last 32 , sadly they lost against Sekhukhune United.The boy nicknamed “De Bruyne” had a short stint to Liver Brother fc , because had to returned back to Pretoria That’s where he joined a team Campaigning in GDL.He played very well there and Moroka Swallows Scouted him .On joining Moroka Swallows feel honoured because already learned some new aspects on and off the field.Playing for Moroka Swallows it means alot for him , because is not easy to get such opportunity.Since it’s the first time for him playing in DDC league,He noticed the league is more advanced and very competitive.Thando gladly thank Moroka Swallows Technical Team regarding the Support and encouragement for them.In 3 years time he wants to see himself get promoted into senior team or play outside South Africa and Earn more National Team Call ups .The other is excited to play for Swallows because the Head Coach of the Senior Team Steve Khomphela likes youngsters always comes to watch them.Achievements he obtained since started playing football,he won plenty man of the match awards since was years old and player of the season at Roseline Sedibana.Words for his Supporters back home ,He would like to thank them for Supporting him through difficult time and he didn’t give up because of them .The encouragement words for upcoming youngsters said ” Work hard,be Discipline,Stay Focus , know what you want and put God first for everything you do.Thoughts regarding the online publication, would like to take this opportunity to thank Wm Sports for giving them the platform to share with their Supporters ,”Concluded
