Sphola started playing football in township when he was 6 years old.When we asked him ,who influenced and inspired him to became an footballer “Said No one but he used to played Street football.One of his ambitions when he grew up is to be inspiration to the next generation after him.He wants them to look up at him and believe anything is possible in Life.The Challenges he faced since started playing football was injuries also increased risk of depression ,at times was confused and he didn’t have aggression and he was bit worried about that .The lessons he picked up during his football journey ,he told the online publication ,learnt alot stating no matter how talented or gifted you are,No one is Bigger than the game.The game Changes everyday so you have to respect football so that he can respect you too.People motivates him to do better every day mentioned his Coach at Easthigh Academy Rewano Swart and his former teammate Nkosinathi Thwala Currently in the books of Golden Arrows fc.According to South African Football Development Structures ,he would love to see young footballers be given a fair chance to showcase their talents irrespective of their age or backgrounds, highlighted if they are talented enough then he believes they should be exposed in top leagues , the way it’s done in other Countries.Sphola s’ favourite football idol is Casemiro , because he likes the way he approaches spaces during the game , also able to take a few touches and his options or notice player in the direction he is facing without any pressure and he is able to excute a good pass.The left footer told us Nkosinathi”Ozil” Thwala is his Best Mentor in football, because he always motivates him when he lost hope,he always speaking positive things about him, always Respect him.The talented Midfielder shared some news regarding his previous teams by mentioning their names Barcelona and Peace Makers also would like to take this opportunity to thank them for grooming him.After his Sister saw his talented ,he recommended Sphola at Easthigh Academy in 2020 and he established himself and never looked back , currently is on of the top players at the Academy.For him playing for Easthigh feels great ,the platform is unique , Explained” many talented players were produced by the institution some playing in top Leagues so he really appreciate being part of this set up and he doesn’t take it lightly nor for granted it really means alot to him.We asked him what it means to play for Easthigh Replied” To do all activities together and achieve one goal as team.Sphola s ‘ goals for 2023/4 Season is Develop Leadership Skills ,To have more ambition to become a great soccer player, and finish the league at the top of the log . Working with Coach Rewano for him it’s an honour because He is the Best Motivator,he can boost your confidence at all times and working performance , and build effective communication Skills.The Best player he played with at Easthigh was Nkosinathi” Ozil ” Thwala ,both they were complimenting each other very well.In 3 years time he wants to be the Best player in his Country and play outside the Country also to have more National Caps.The Achievements obtained since started playing football winning Kay Motsepe and other individual accolades.Sphola feels great to be named amongst the Best players in Hollywood Men’s Regional League Ehlanzeni and plenty Coaches were impressed by him , and advising him to work hard ,stay discipline ,put more effort,make Sacrifices .Words for struggling talented players, According to him they must not lost their faith but they must work harder and stay focus .He notified the online publication by saying had Challenges regarding his football Journey but he didn’t give up , always worked harder by using his faith.Sphola would like to take this opportunity to thank the online publication for conducting an online interview with him hinted always follow it .
