Information Published By Wonderboy Myanga

Kenneth started playing football when he was in primary school ,guess but back then he was having fun nothing serious , until grade 6&7 , he went all the way to district trials and thus winning football of the year in his school. He went to high school still didn’t take it serious, until one afternoon a couple of his friends and him, went to play at the grounds After school not knowing,it was the field that Papic Football Academy trained.Little did they know the late Dennis Lota was having a look at them while they were playing. Before they started training he asked some of them to joned the academy..As time went by started taking Football more serious, until Dennis Lota got a job as a Coach of the reserve team of Moroka Swallows in Dobsinville and took most of lads there for trials. He didn’t make the cut.Actually failed the trials 3 times, before finally making it under Patrick Mabedi.
He never actually had someone who influenced him into the Sports, because he didn’t really think he had something in the sport to begin with so as time went by,he found people who influenced him after his spell at MDC (Multi Diski Challenge) for Moroka Swallows. He had the likes of Elasto Kapowenza,Butla Masango,Joe Makoela and Jack Seruberube. They played vital roles in his foundation as an footballer.Kenneth s’ ambitions is to go to highest level in football and play for one of the Big Teams in the PSL.As Footballers the journey to get where you want to be always comes with UPS and downs .He had his fair shares of up and downs, and some of those moments have made him hate football, and other times it’s made him love it even more.He missed professional Contracts due to specific reason, which for him was his biggest defeat ,but at the same time pushed him to work twice as hard to try get another one.He travelled to many teams and places to try pursue his journey, for example slept on couchs/floors all in the name of chasing the Dream.
In football , Kenneth learnt to live with different kinds of people.Learnt to understand different kinds of people, Learnt to be humble and patient, most of all he learnt to fight for everything. His Uncle Joe Makoela motivates him every single day whether it’s emotional, physically, Spiritually or Mentally, his always there every single day till this day. They spend hours on the phone talking about how he trained , how he played, how he need to fix this and that. His Aunt always says they can’t speak so long all the time, they are just gossiping that’s all.He like South African Football to change it’s Development Structures interms of teaching basics properly and focus more on developing players from a young age properly and not focusing on winning leagues.
Kenneth ‘s favourite football idol is Mpho Terrence”Bibo” Makola, has been his guy since started playing football. His always been there also with advice, soccer boots when he needed and trust him,he needed a lot.Kenneth s’ goals for 2023/24 season is to gain automatic promotion with University Of Pretoria and have most assists in the league. For him playing for University Of Pretoria (Amatuks) is a Blessing because it gives you early taste of what professionalism feels like.Highlighted everything is Structured and is done through proper channels and teachings Footballers alot.Insisted they provide Courses for you.Encouraging words for upcoming youngsters” said the gift you with endless knowledge of football and life itself. He also told us feels great playing in Motsepe foundation truth be told and makes easier to be scouted. In next 3 years time,he would like to see himself at Mamelodi Sundowns playing regularly and representing South Africa.Playing for University of Pretoria it means fighting for the badge and knowing what the badge represents on and off the pitch .Since he started playing football ,he won a lot individual trophies and awards but his most precious trophy was when he Captained NB LaMasia to win the ABC Motsepe League Play offs. Some of his teammates aren’t happy and some are and as for his Coaches, he knows Ashraaf Hendricks is more than happy with him.He only ever wants to see him happy and playing best Football and getting what he deserves.Words for his supporters back home “Said would like to thank them for the love and support on and off the pitch,it doesn’t go unrecognized and is really and is really appreciated. To all the upcoming Footballers all he says that it’s not and if it was everyone would be doing it,but believe in yourself, work hard , pray.
